In an effort to meet the increasing demand for sustainable transportation solutions, electric vehicle leader Agilitee has introduced its latest innovation, the Agilitee LoadFast delivery scooters.
Positioned as a symbol of African ingenuity, this off-road two-wheeler is specifically designed to align with Agilitee’s commitment to eco-friendly mobility.
The LoadFast boasts impressive specifications, including a range of 120 kilometers per charge and a top speed of 70 kmph. What sets it apart is its swappable battery technology, allowing for a seamless battery swap within just sixty seconds. With a carrying capacity of up to 150kg, the scooter is ideal for last-mile delivery services.
Mandla Lamba, the visionary behind Agilitee, emphasized the company’s dedication to sustainability.
“The future is green, and investing in clean and smart technologies is crucial for a sustainable tomorrow,” said Lamba adding that “The durability of the LoadFast, is built to withstand rugged conditions, reducing maintenance and repair costs for businesses.”
LoadFast Delivery Scooters
The adoption of Agilitee’s electric vehicles has gained significant traction in South Africa, with many delivery companies embracing them to reduce fuel expenses.
Lamba revealed that these companies are saving substantial amounts each month and benefiting from a comprehensive maintenance plan covering 100,000 kilometers.
In a major development, Agilitee secured an equity funding of $200 million from an American investor, signaling confidence in its vision and potential. A joint statement with the investor is expected within three weeks, indicating further strategic initiatives.

Furthermore, Agilitee recently formed a partnership with PT Valencia Utama Group of Indonesia, creating Agilitee Indonesia Group, which began operations on May 1, 2024.
This move aligns with Agilitee’s expansion strategy, tapping into Indonesia’s large motorcycle market and leveraging government support to transition millions of scooters to electric variants.
The company’s ambitions align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 7, which aims to enhance international cooperation for clean energy research and technology access by 2030. Agilitee is committed to driving continuous innovation to contribute to this global objective.
The introduction of the LoadFast marks a significant milestone in Africa’s journey towards green mobility, combining technological expertise with environmental responsibility to shape a cleaner and more sustainable future for the continent and beyond.
