TECNO is set to launch the global roll-out of its new SPARK 40 Series, the first smartphone range to feature MediaTek’s fresh Helio G200 processor.
Its SPARK 40 Pro+ flagship will debut with the new chipset, which is more than 10% faster than its previous model.
The move sees TECNO become the world’s first smartphone brand to carry the Helio G200 chip, demonstrating its commitment to innovation in the entry and mid-range smartphone segment.
Benchmarking scores place the Helio G200 at approximately 470,000 on AnTuTu a whole lot more processing super that translates to quicker app launch times, better multitasking, and a more seamless user experience.

TECNO’s senior product director, Joey Qu, clarified the SPARK 40 Series would not only be focused on hardware enhancement but also redefine the standards of its league.
“With the Helio G200 as its engine, the SPARK 40 Series redefines what’s possible in its class, offering an unprecedented experience for its users all while delivering signature slim design,” said Joey Qu TECNO’s senior product director
The SPARK 40 Pro+ also has visual enhancements, with TECNO’s in-house algorithms combined with the Helio G200 to enable 1.5K super-resolution rendering the most advanced visual mode in its category.
This means sharper images, better video quality, and more powerful AI-driven upscaling for users.
On the connectivity front, Helio G200 comes with DCSAR (Dynamic Communication Smart Adaptive Response) modem technology that is designed to offer increased network efficiency even under poor signal conditions.
This is to offer more stable and quicker connections for streaming, calling, and gaming on the go.
SPARK 40 Series is to begin global rollouts in the later half of this July. Official pre-bookings for the SPARK 40 Pro+ have begun today and can be made through TECNO’s online platform.
