Skills To Grow Africa, Strathmore in Partnership to Develop Young PR Practitioners

  • More than 3,000 Communication, Marketing and International Relations Students to get access to mentors, Internships, Career development coaching

Skills to Grow Africa a career development firm for Communication and Marketing Professionals and Strathmore Communication and Consultancy Clinic have announced a partnership to create career development opportunities for more than 3,000 young professionals interested in a Public Relations Career.

 The partnership will allow Public Relations practitioners currently enrolled for a degree or diploma at Strathmore University and those with less than 2 years’ experience to receive advanced global standards Career Development coaching.

The agreement brings together access to internships, mentors, networking events and a chance to take part in the Young PR practitioners award By Skills to Grow Africa in May 2024.

” The goal of Public Relations is to create a positive image of an organization and build trust and credibility with its stakeholders. PR is a very important profession for any organization among them Corporate Organizations, NGOs, the government, SMEs and even startups. Our main focus is to enhance the skills set of communication and Marketing professionals from the time they are still in school. We want to enhance the practice to Global Standards.” Skills to Grow Africa Managing Director Ms. Eunice Victoria said,

Members of the Young PR Practitioners Club will now have access to industry resources as well as receive a 5% discount on the Young PR practitioner Programme, 50% discount on the annual subscription for Young PR Practitioner Membership fees among other added benefits.

The President of Strathmore Communication and Consultancy Clinic Ms Cidy Jepkemoi said “We are excited to partner with Skills to Grow Africa, being a student led organization, such strategic partnership will help us enhance our skills and create opportunities for our members as well.’
