Safaricom has released an updated version of its My One App on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, introducing enhancements aimed at improving navigation, convenience, and overall user experience.
The latest update restores the “Favourites” tab within the transactions section, enabling users to save and quickly retrieve frequently used contacts. It also improves the “Frequents” feature, giving faster access to commonly used applications.
In addition, the login experience has been refined to reduce frequent logouts. Users can now stay logged in on Wi-Fi after their initial sign-in while still benefiting from maintained security controls.
The company said the improvements are part of its continuous development cycle informed by customer feedback, with further updates expected in future releases.
Users have been advised to update their apps to the latest versions—Play Store v5.1.5 (http://bit.ly/4mFrh9L) and App Store v5.1.3 (http://apple.co/41LpaIc)—to access the new features.
