Kingdom Bank Services to Go Offline From October 9 to 11
Kingdom Bank has announced a temporary suspension of banking services as it undertakes an upgrade of its Core Banking System between Friday, October 9 and Sunday, October 11, 2026.
The bank said all banking services will be unavailable from 3:30pm on Friday, October 9 until noon on Sunday, October 11, as the system upgrade is carried out.
In a notice to customers, Kingdom Bank advised clients with urgent banking needs to complete their transactions before the scheduled shutdown.
“Kingdom Bank will be upgrading its Core Banking System from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th October 2026,” the bank said.
The lender said the temporary interruption would affect all banking services during the upgrade period.

Kingdom Bank also announced changes to its branch operating hours ahead of the planned system maintenance.
All branches will close at 1pm on Friday, October 9 and remain closed over the weekend before reopening at 8am on Monday, October 12.
The bank urged customers to plan their transactions accordingly to avoid disruptions during the period when its services will be unavailable.
“We advise completing any urgent transactions before 3:30pm on Friday 9th October 2026,” the bank said.

The system upgrade comes as banks continue to invest in core banking technology to improve service delivery and strengthen their digital banking infrastructure.
