Chilean wine brand Frontera has launched its new Frutal Collection in Kenya, introducing a range of sweet, fruit-forward wines aimed at younger consumers and social occasions.
The launch marks an expansion of the brand’s portfolio, with the collection designed to cater to growing demand for versatile wines that can be enjoyed at casual gatherings, outdoor events, and at-home entertaining.

According to Viva Global, the distributor of Frontera wines in Kenya, the Frutal Collection offers a departure from traditional wine varieties by focusing on sweeter flavour profiles and flexible serving options. The wines can be enjoyed chilled, served over ice, or used as a base for cocktails such as sangria.
Speaking during the launch, Meera Karia, Director of Business Development at Viva Global, said the collection was developed to align with changing consumer preferences.

The company said the launch responds to a growing trend among Kenyan consumers aged between 21 and 35, who are increasingly embracing casual hosting experiences at home and in outdoor settings.
Viva Global highlighted the collection’s versatility, positioning it as a suitable option for picnics, social gatherings, and cocktail-making occasions. The wines are designed to pair with a variety of foods, including spicy dishes and fruit-based platters.

To mark the launch, the company hosted a Sweet Vibes Garden Soirée in Nairobi, bringing together lifestyle influencers, media personalities, and guests for a product showcase. The event featured sangria stations, picnic-themed lounges, and interactive tasting experiences aimed at introducing consumers to the new range.
The Frontera Frutal Collection is now available at major retail outlets across Kenya, including Chandarana Foodplus, Naivas supermarkets, wines and spirits stores, and selected e-commerce platforms.
Frontera is one of Chile’s internationally recognized wine brands and is known for producing accessible wines for a broad consumer market. The introduction of the Frutal Collection forms part of the brand’s efforts to expand its appeal among younger wine consumers seeking sweeter and more approachable wine options.
