SasaPay Waives Transaction Fees For 3 Months

SasaPay, a leading digital payments service provider, has waived the transaction fees for its platform users, providing financial relief for the next three months.

From now until February 29, 2024, all SasaPay-to-SasaPay transactions – including person-to-person transfers, business collections, business payouts to users, and payments for bills/tills – will be exempt from charges.

The waived transaction amount can reach up to KES 500,000, which is the standard user wallet limit, and KES 6,000,000 for business wallets.

Charges are only applicable for transactions involving external networks, deposits, or payments made outside the SasaPay ecosystem.

This initiative is designed to offer Kenyans the opportunity to experience the advantages of the SasaPay platform, making digital financial services more accessible and attracting new users.

“Kenyans can now enjoy our products, such as ‘Split Bill’ which enables users to share the bill while enjoying time together, especially during this festive season, without worrying about transaction charges,” said Mr Daniel Njoroge, SasaPay Chief Operating Officer.

Users are more likely to stay engaged with the platform, conduct additional transactions, and become advocates within their social networks, solidifying its position as a market leader focused on delivering tangible benefits and unparalleled value to its user base.

“As we embark on this journey, we welcome valuable user feedback to continuously improve our platforms and contribute to the financial well-being of our growing SasaPay community,” said Mr Njoroge.
