WSUP Advisory, the commercial arm of Water and Sanitation for the Urban Poor (WSUP), has appointed Dr. Philippa Ross as its new Managing Director.
Specializing in global commercial consultancy services for water, sanitation, and hygiene, WSUP Advisory is committed to enhancing services for low-income urban communities worldwide.
Dr. Ross brings a wealth of experience, having spent over 20 years in the water sector across Africa, Asia, and the UK. Her tenure includes senior roles at AtkinsRéalis, where she spearheaded international development, planning, environmental consenting, and sustainability efforts.
With her extensive expertise and visionary leadership, Dr. Ross aims to elevate WSUP Advisory’s business strategies, fortify client and partner relationships, and cultivate a highly skilled team of experts and consultants.

Since 2015, WSUP has successfully completed nearly sixty projects, ranging in size from $10,000 to $3.2 million, totaling $16 million in fees. Its clientele includes reputable organizations such as The Conrad Hilton Foundation, USAID, UNICEF, and the World Bank.
