CASIO Middle East and Africa is looking to strengthen its forays into the East African region through dealers and supporters’ engagements.
The regional arm of CASIO Computer Company conducted a meet up session jointly with local partner, Sangyug Enterprise Limited, to host the CASIO Calculator Partners event in Kenya.
The event served as a platform to highlight CASIO’s advancements in the local market, strengthen connections with dealers, and introduce the new ClassWiz series scientific calculator, particularly the fx-82CW model, which is now available in the Kenyan market.
Designed specifically to empower secondary and tertiary students as well as educators, the fx-82CW scientific calculator boasts a rich array of features and a comprehensive set of essential functions that enhance the learning experience and support educational endeavors.
During the launch ceremony, Takashi Seimiya, Managing Director of CASIO Middle East and Africa FZE, emphasized that the new fx-82CW scientific calculator is equipped with multiple features geared towards simplifying mathematics and science.

“The new 82CW scientific calculator promises a seamless user experience, an enhanced display and an improved keypad, making it an indispensable tool for learners and teachers alike,” said Takashi Seimiya
“It also offers an intuitive and approachable design, loaded with basic but essential functions such as statistics and tables functions to encourage interest in mathematics for students,” added Takashi Seimiya.
As part of the launch activities, Takashi Seimiya highlighted that CASIO leverages technology within the education sector to help further boost learning between students. “We are committed to providing innovative products to students to aid them in their learning journey.” Added Takashi Seimiya.
“Education has always been at the heart of CASIO’s mission. We are delighted to announce that we have provided the fx-82CW scientific calculators to Nile Road Secondary and Embakasi Girls High School in Nairobi County.
We believe these calculators will go a long way in helping the students prepare adequately for the upcoming KCSE exams,” said Takashi Seimiya. The launch of the fx-82CW scientific calculator is a testament of CASIO’s continued investment in the local market. It is also the latest calculator available in the market after they launched the new ClassWiz series CW calculators in Kenya.
The fx-82CW calculator will be available at their local partner, Sangyug Enterprise Limited, dealerships across the country, major stores, supermarkets and bookshops countrywide.
